~NATIONAL FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE~ On  November 13, 2009, chapter officers, Ms. Ham, and Elise Nelson traveled to Denver, Colorado. Ms. Ham represented the National Awards Program Committee and Ms. Nelson attended as the Mountain Plains Region Secretary. Ham presented a workshop entitled    Everything You Want to Know about Competitive Events. Pictured right is Elise Nelson with FBLA CEO Jean Buckley.

~STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE~

Sixteen chapter members, one adviser, one guests, and one judge traveled to Vail April 19– 21, 2009. The theme of the state conference was “Peak to Success.” Students attended motivational workshops and came home with 12 of 14 members being  recognized. Our chapter received the Peak V award, which is the highest honor of chapter awards.

~NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE~ Five members, Adviser Ms. Ham, and sponsor Lori Nelson, attended the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California June 24—June 30, 2009. Members observed  project demonstrations and attended inspirational workshops. The workshops energized students and gave them a variety of new ideas for our chapter. The group experienced a fun week with highlights of a day at Disneyland, experiencing the Sea World, and spending a day on the beach.
