~VOLLEYBALL
CONCESSION~ The
Holyoke FBLA chapter sells Otis Spunkmeyer cookies and muffins
through the state organization. They, along with many other treats,
may be purchased during volleyball games. The suckers are purchased
from Ozark Lollipop Company and the variety of flavors are popular
with students. |
|
~YANKEE ESSENCE CANDLES~
FBLA members spread a
delicious scent through the city by selling numerous candles. The
candles came in a variety of scents and were a huge success for the
chapter. |
|
~DATA MATCH~
FBLA members and all other high school students were encouraged to
fill out a personality form to find their most compatible partner
from the school. Students enjoyed seeing their compatible partners
as FBLA members received money for each result sold. This was an
entertaining fundraiser. |
|
~TIRE TOW DAYS~
Local businesses, including
Scholl Oil and Transportation, paid FBLA to take their old tires.
After enough tires had been collected, members transported them to a
field to cover up blowouts. Not only is this a good fundraiser for
the chapter, it is also good for the environment. |

~Cartridge
Connection~
The Holyoke FBLA chapter partnered with a local business, Computer’s
Etc. to create a fundraiser for the chapter. Since then, The
Cartridge Connection has become a partner with National FBLA.
Students are receiving approximately a 20 percent profit from all
ink cartridges sold through the program. The new fundraiser not only
raises funds for chapter members, but also supports the local
business and our local economy by putting the money back into our
community. |
