~RECOGNITION NIGHT~ Friends of FBLA were invited to join the chapter as those who placed at district and state competitions were recognized, and the new officers were installed. Members and parents were recognized for contributions and awards earned through their participation in FBLA. A power-point presentation highlighted the chapter’s activities for the year. The night concluded with an ice cream social.

~NIGHT OF THE STARS~ Holyoke FBLA hosts the Night of the Stars where state qualifiers give their presentations to parents and members of the community. The observers act as judges and give the presenters tips to improve their performances. This opportunity gives members practice time to prepare for state competition and for the community members to be recognized for their involvement in FBLA.

~RECOGNITION TO BUSINESSES~ Holyoke FBLA has submitted several thank you notes to businesses in the local newspaper. In addition, they received certificates for partnering with FBLA to impact the lives of our youth. Their financial support of those members attending the national conference is greatly appreciated.

~SCHOOL AWARDS~ Those receiving awards at the Academic Awards Banquet were: Brian DeBoer, Accounting I; Mark Edmonds, Information Technology; Victoria Timm, Career Development; Mallory Bennett, Introduction to Business; Geoffrey Mattson, Website Design. Elise Nelson also had the privilege of introducing business teacher, Kristina Ham.
