Over the break, the Holyoke High School Girls' Swim Team was busy! The day after school got out for Christmas break, 7 of the girls traveled to Denver and swam at the Veterans Memorial Center. Only state qualifiers could attend this meet because it was a qualification meet. The meet was very fun and was definitely a success. The day before Christmas Eve, the girls had another meet! This meet was in Windsor at Windsor High School. All of the girls had yet another amazing meet. Coach Aly Brinkema wasn’t expecting best times at either of these meets because of how hard she’s been training the girls, but somehow most of them got new best times. The girls' next meet is this Saturday in Greeley at the Greeley Rec Center. If you have the chance, you should come and watch. The girls have been working very hard, it would mean a lot if a few of our fellow Holyoke Dragons came. Go Holyoke!
