In a letter to parents sent out on October 7, 2019. Mr. Walkinshaw detailed a new Dragon Dollar incentive for JH/HS students. Students with no appearances on the eligibility list, no write-ups, no tardies, nor absences during a two week period (from the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Wednesday) will be released early from their ICAP class on the following Friday giving them a longer lunch. Students with an absence or tardy can buy back one back with 5 dragon dollars paid to their ICAP teacher. The incentives reset every two weeks with each student getting a new chance to qualify anew. Additionally, the student of the month for junior high and high school automatically receive the early release both Fridays of the month.
