State Testing Begins at Holyoke Elementary

State testing got started at Holyoke Elementary School on a positive note with a pep talk from Mr. Stumpf, kinetic exercise to boost student concentration led by Mr. Dille and healthy snacks to promote attentiveness.  Students in third through ninth grades will take the PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) math and English language arts tests.  Students in fifth, eighth and eleventh grades will take the CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) science test. Students in fourth and seventh grades will take the CMAS social studies test. Parents are encouraged to help their children to be successful by making sure kids get a good night’s rest, eat healthy breakfast on test dates, and motivating students to do their best on each test.
