On Thursday, October 26, high-performing fourth through eighth graders went to NJC to do a number of educational activities. Students were selected by math and science teachers and included many gifted and talented students. Schools from all over Northeastern Colorado participated in the workshop. At this workshop, they did things such as learn more about weather and programming robots. Ethan Schneller was one of the many kids that went on the trip. Ethan is a seventh grader who enjoys learning He has been identified by the district as gifted and talented. Ethan’s favorite part of the entire trip was programming a robot. He hopes to have the opportunity to go again because it was so much fun.
