Holyoke School District

The Holyoke 6-8th graders recently traveled to Standley Lake High School to compete in a Brain Bowl competition. The students had all been training for the competition and were ready to have fun! Everyone did an amazing job and tried their best. The 6th graders ended up placing 3rd out of 20 teams! The 7th graders placed 26th out of 30. The 8th graders took two teams: A team placed 17th out of 45, and B team placed 28th out of 45. Sponsors Amber Schroetlin, Sharon Strauss, Charlee Kleve, and Jade Goldenstein were all very proud of how the kids performed. Brain Bowl is an amazing experience and a lot of fun!
