Holyoke Elementary students had the opportunity to learn more about maps, cartographers and the state of Colorado when Dr. Rebecca Theobald a professor of geography from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs brought a giant 16 ft. by 20 ft. map of Colorado to Holyoke Elementary School. Kids were allowed to walk on the map while doing fun interactive activities provided by the Colorado Geographic Alliance.
