Dear Holyoke Students, Parents, and Guardians,

The Holyoke School District is excited to announce that in-person learning will resume on Monday, November 30th, 2020, after the scheduled week of fall break between November 23rd-27th.  The district has been monitoring staff and students that have been asked to quarantine due to the Coronavirus this week and feels that, at this time, they can obtain subs for the limited number of staff and provide quality remote learning for those few that still may be affected by quarantine expectations.  The administration will continue to monitor the health of both students and staff between November 30th and December 18th and will notify students and parents if the district would need to return to remote learning due to health concerns, a shortage of substitutes, or if local and state health departments change guidelines and protocols pertaining to the Coronavirus and its impact on the Holyoke community.

The district apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused for families and students, but do appreciate your understanding of the situation the district faced this past week.  Administration and teachers will assess positives from the week of remote learning as well as determine areas that need to be adjusted or changed if the district should need to provide remote learning again this school year.  If you have any questions or if you would like to obtain information to become a substitute teacher for the district please check out the district website at www.hcosd.org or feel free to contact building principals, the district office, or Mr. Stumpf directly.

Estimados Estudiantes, Padres y Guardianes,
