Through the Holyoke Homegrown Talent Initiative students get the opportunity to explore career choices outside of the traditional classroom. This series spotlights junior and senior interns who leave the traditional classroom for one or more class period a day and learn what life will be like once they hit the work force. | What are your goals? | "I am learning to paint on a small scale and use my non-dominant hand. This is important because I can paint small things with precision and detail and if for some reason can't use my dominant hand, I know how to use the other. It's important because I want to enter the art industry." |
| What have you learned? | "I have been at Butterfly Your Nails all school year and have leaned may things about the nail industry and operating a business. Currently I am working on practicing doing my nails myself. The biggest challenge I've come across is painting with my left hand." |
