7th-11th grade students at Holyoke JR/SR High School participated in the 3rd Annual Course Fair today. The course fair is designed to allow students to ask questions of the teachers about the classes they are interested in taking next school year. Students prepared in their seminar class by looking over what courses they need to take to stay in course for graduation and or promotion to the next grade. 
The teaching staff and counselors at the JR/SR High School put a tremendous amount of effort into each course offering and want the each student to feel comfortable in their chooses class. Teachers meet with the principal and counselors prior to the course fair to ensure that the courses being offered next year will meet the requirements for graduation and be aligned to existing standards. 
At the conclusion of the fair, students should consult with their parents on their course choices and then enter their requests in to their Infinite Campus Student Portal. Next year’s schedule will be built based primarily on the student’s requests as well as other factors.
