HELPING THE HOMELESS. That’s what Rubi Dominguez’ project in Mrs. Nelson’s class is all about. “The problem that I am solving is helping the homeless. I will be helping the homeless in Sterling, Colorado, by using money earned from selling cupcakes to make gift boxes of essential items. This will make me a better person because it is an opportunity to restore hope and a sense of belonging to those who need it most. It will make me feel good because the people I'm helping are happy and won't worry anymore.”
