E-Fair Participants

Twenty Junior Achievement students recently competed in the Ogallala Commons Entrepreneurship Fair at the Phillips County fairgrounds and secured the top three places!

First Place: Lili Vasquez and Levi Clayton with their business, Happy Hands. They created and packaged hand sanitizers for sale, earning a profit of $800 by winning the competition.

Second Place: Jozelyn Perez with her business, Jozelyn’s Ramo De Rosas, which specializes in making and selling silk flower bouquets. Jozelyn made $700 to reinvest in her business or use as she chooses.Jozelyn's

Third Place: Raia Sprague and Katie Cure with their business, Scrub-a-Dub, which offers a variety of scented body scrubs. They received $600 for their efforts.Scrub-a-Dub

  • Tenley Becker and Aubree Kammer, Stitch & Co, selling personalized clothing

  • Ian Cure, Buff Boards, selling personalized cornhole boards

  • Sophia Gonzalez and Kianna Sanchez, Silkbloom, selling homemade silk flower bouquets

  • Gael Lopez, Jacob McCarty, and Izaak Hayes, Cozy Toes, selling personalized athletic socks

  • Brandon Lopez and Leroy Lee, Forever In Bloom, selling personalized gift boxes for every occasion

  • Eva Schlachter and Sophia Daniel, Phone Fashion, selling personalized Apple phone cases

  • Kynlea Nelson, Soulful Stickers, selling personalized stickers
