FBLA State 2025

Holyoke’s Future Business Leaders of America traveled to Denver this week to compete in tests and presentations against approximately 200 other chapters and 6,000 FBLA members, all competing for a chance to make it to Nationals in Anaheim, June 28-July 3.

Holyoke walked away with more qualifiers than any other school in Northeast Colorado, qualifying 9 students.

Placing first was our American Enterprise team of Teagan Martin, Rorey Schneller and Jacob Quintana. American Enterprise

Community Service placed second, with chapter members Brandon Bustillos, Courtlyn Kinnie, and Colby Weber representing our chapter. Community Service

Also making it to Nationals were Macie Maloney and Vanessa Marroquin in Partnership with Business, placing fourth. Partnership w Business

Fatima Nunez will also represent our chapter in our Peak award and voting delegate. Fatima helped co-advise the junior high FBLA this year.

In addition to these qualifiers, several members placed in the top 10 who could possibly make it to Anaheim. Those members are:

Isabelle Kropp, Cozner Ring, and Ellie Kleve, placing 5th in Local Chapter Report

Jeylin Dominguez, 6th in Accounting II

Leah Struckmeyer, 7th in Accounting I, and

Tomas Estrada, 8th in Introduction to Business Procedures.

In addition, Vianey Jimenez completed the highest level of Business Achievement Awards - the Capstone.  

Holyoke was recognized with the highest chapter achievement, receiving Peak V, for being an active chapter in all qualifying areas.

While not attending workshops or testing, students enjoyed other amenities while staying at the Gaylord of the Rockies.  In addition, the chapter went off-site to Bowlero where they bowled and played games in the arcade.
