On October 22, 2025, students from Jr/Sr High School participated in a series of service projects, embodying this year's school-wide theme, "We Before Me." This initiative allowed students, teachers, and staff to engage in activities that express gratitude to the community that consistently supports them.
Phillips County Projects
The county tasked the students with painting two shop doors at the county building's west side and assisting with trash pickup and bolt tightening at the fairgrounds grandstands.

Heginbotham Library
Students assisted with gardening tasks, including ground maintenance around the library property.

Peerless Theater
The theater's board requested help with cleaning and organizing, which involved window cleaning and seat scrubbing.

City of Holyoke Projects
The city identified three projects: preparing ball fields for winter by removing netting and cleaning, repainting a "Welcome to Holyoke" sign, and refreshing two pavilions at the city park with fresh paint.


Holyoke Golf Course
Student golfers assisted with fall projects, as the golf course generously supports their practice and tournaments.

Holyoke Community Garden and Highway Clean-Up
Students prepared the community garden for winter, responding to the garden organization's request for assistance.

Community Member Yard Work
A local resident sought help with yard projects, including painting a resided shed, moving dirt to prevent erosion, and pulling weeds.

Holyoke Dragon Footprint Repainting
Students repainted the Holyoke Dragon footprints on sidewalks and streets.

Old Gym Painting
With new bleachers installed, students painted the east wall of the old gym to maintain its aesthetic.

PE/Sports Storage Clean-Up
Students sorted through storage areas, discarding broken or outdated equipment and organizing supplies.

Fleet Maintenance
Students cleaned the interiors and exteriors of school vehicles, showing appreciation for the school's transportation facilities.


Mrs. Powell, expressing gratitude, remarked, "Thank you to everyone for making our Day of Service a success. Those we helped were truly appreciative, and it was heartening to see our students giving back to the school and community."
