As part of ongoing efforts at the Junior/Senior High School to provide a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment, the staff has made the following adjustments to the finals schedule this semester for the Junior/Senior High School only. The Elementary School will not have any changes to its schedule.
On Wednesday, December 17, and Thursday, December 18, finals will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The Elementary School will follow its regular schedule and start at 8:05 a.m.; buses will run their regular routes and times, and breakfast service will be offered at the same time. Junior/Senior High School students who need or wish to use those services must follow the regular schedule and will be given time and space at school to finish preparing for their finals. Junior/Senior High School students who prefer to finish preparing at home should arrive at school by 8:50 a.m. each day so they are in their classrooms on time.
Any high school student who is exempt from finals need not attend; however, a student may choose to take an exam without any negative consequence to the final semester grade.
Seventh and eighth grade students do not have to arrive for their service-learning projects until 8:50 a.m., unless they ride the bus or need breakfast. If they arrive at the regular time, they will be supervised by school staff who will already be at the school.
