On Thursday, Holyoke FBLA traveled to the district competition in Sterling, Colorado, at Northeastern Junior College, where they competed against nine other schools, vying for top honors to qualify for state competition. Holyoke returned with 48 member placings and pre-qualifiers out of our 56-member chapter!
While there, students gave presentations, attended workshops, and enjoyed a keynote from Dallin Cooper, bull rider and motivational speaker, who spoke about overcoming challenges and leadership. Lili Vasquez also represented our chapter on stage as a District 4 officer and led a workshop for students in attendance.
Those placing in the top three for tests and top four for presentations, thus qualifying for Colorado State FBLA in April, include:
