On April 27, 2018 students from HHS helped the Lions Club do some work at the fishing pond. In a card sent to the HHS staff, Lions Club members cited the polite and hard working nature of the students saying, "it was a pleasure to work with them." They specifically wanted to thank Sandra Rahe, Athletic and Activities Director and Susan Ortner, Principal for coordinating the efforts of these students and allowing them the time out of class to participate in the project.
On that afternoon, the entire student body participated in a number of service projects around town.
