Holyoke Elementary's K-6 ESL program held its first End of the Year ESL BBQ on Tuesday, May 22nd. Families were invited to join in celebrating their student's success throughout the year. Students were presented with ESL Achievement Awards for successful completion of the ACCESS assessment. Students and their families shared delicious side dishes, desserts, and beverages with everyone in attendance. More importantly, it was a time to enjoy family and friendships. It was a fun filled evening for all.
\r\nThe K-6 ESL Department would like to thank all families in attendance for their support to the program and acknowledges the important role they play in their child's education.
\r\nEl programa de ESL de K-6 tuvo su primer “BBQ de Fin de Año” para estudiantes de ESL” el martes 22 de mayo. Se les invito a familias para celebrar el éxito de sus estudiantes en este año escolar. Se les presento Premios de ESL a todos los estudiantes por su participación en el examen ACCESS. Los estudiantes y familias compartieron deliciosas pastas, postres, y refrescos con todos los que asistieron. Pero lo más importante fue haber podido disfrutar tiempo con familia y amistades. ¡Fue una tarde divertida para todos!\r\n
