Junior High FBLA

Holyoke School District is excited to announce that our Business and STEM departments have activated a junior high Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization.  FBLA offers students the opportunity to succeed in college and their future careers. With over 20,000 members in 750+ chapters across the country, FBLA Middle Level will give Holyoke’s junior high and soon-to-be high school students a competitive advantage!  Those students eligible to join include those that have taken a business or STEM class.

Our local chapter started with an informational meeting and social at the Holyoke Swimming Pool where they ate pizza, learned about FBLA, and had fun swimming.  Our initial chapter will include approximately 20 students.  Those elected as the first officers (shown above) include Hudson Koellner, President; Teagan Martin, Vice President; Brandon Bustillos Dias, Secretary; and Rorey Schneller, Treasurer.  Kody Timm will serve as our local chapter adviser.\r\n

Some of the activities planned this year include study sessions, field trips, socials, meetings, and attending State FBLA in April in Denver.\r\n
