On Monday, December 19, 2022, Holyoke Future Business Leaders attended the Colorado Avalanche vs. New York Islanders game in Denver. The Avalanche, 2022 Stanley Cups winners, beat the Isles 1-0 in an overtime shootout, with the lone shot being made by Evan Rodrigues.
\r\nIn addition to watching the game, the Av’s marketing and management teams talked to our FBLA chapter in a private presentation where they explained their roles in advertising the Avalanche. And then eight lucky members got up close and personal with the players when they dressed up in Avalanche helmets and sat on the Av’s bench for the beginning warmups of the players. Those members included Sabryn Burris, Erin Andersen, Fatima Nunez, Mason Powell, Carter Van Overbeke, Marcus Laws, Summer Martin, and Cooper Goldenstein.\r\n
