Internship HighlightsEthan Interns at Auntie's Antique Store.

What have you learned?"Working at Auntie's Antiques has been really fun and beneficial. It has helped me improve my communication skills and professionalism. Working with customers, I have to be professional and communicate with them. This may be as simple as answering a question about a price or telling them about a specific piece or vendor. I have also learned about the importance of shopping locally so that small businesses can continue to prosper. It has also been really great to meet all different types of people from all over!"
Career Exploration"At Auntie's Antiques, I help organize items around the store, run the register, help customers with any questions they have, and pick up supplies around town for the store. I have also been able to create a wishlist, registry, and punch card template to be used. It has been a lot of fun being able to participate in the antique store's first year of business."
