Internship HighlightsErin interns at the Dragon's Wagon Preschool. teaching kids to share with others, leading groups, and cleaning up messy areas.
What have you learned?"Working a the preschool and being hands-on with the kids almost everyday has allowed me to build a great relationship with each individual child and allowed me to be part of their life and everyday routine. It has been an honor to watch these kids develop their knowledge and understanding of the world and education. I want to be a preschool teacher when I graduate and working at the preschool has ensured that this is really what I want to do with my life. It has shown me not only the good parts about being a preschool teacher, but it has shown me the worst and toughest parts.
Everyday is a new adventure at the preschool and everyday I enjoy it all the same. Getting a child to laugh while they are playing with you is one of the most rewarding and joyful moments."
