Through the Holyoke Homegrown Talent Initiative students get the opportunity to explore career choices outside of the traditional classroom. This series spotlights junior and senior interns who leave the traditional classroom for one or more class period a day and learn what life will be like once they hit the work force. | Internship Highlights | Kayden interns at 21st Century Equipment. He spends about fours hours each day there and is also employed part-time. |
| What do you do? | "When at my internship, these are my responsibilities: Safety first, pick up after myself to ensure safety, my primary work is on combines, planters, and air seeders, work with my supervisor and other employees." |
| What has been your focus? | "One thing that I've been working on is my communication skills. Whether it is with a customer's equipment or with my cowokers, it is important for me to learn different ways to communicate with them." |
