Forty-nine Future Business Leaders traveled to the Gaylord Rockies this week, April 4-7, to compete against over 3,000 other students in hopes of placing in the top four, qualifying them for Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia in June. Sponsors included Lori Nelson, Kody Timm, Charlene Kleve, Colbey Stumpf, and Summer Struckmeyer.
\r\nWhile there, students competed in tests and presentations and went to workshops. They also had some time at the end of the conference to swim, play games, and listen to a hypnotist. \r\n
\r\nBen Kleve ran for Colorado State Officer, along with 25 others, and received District 4 State Officer! We are excited to have a State Officer from Holyoke. And Piper McConachie won the National Pin Design for Colorado. In addition, all Colorado members received a shirt designed by our own Madi Clapper.\r\n
\r\nThose placing in the Top 10 included Ben Austin in Spreadsheet Applications, Piper McConachie in Accounting II, and Teagan Martin in Computer Applications. Others placing in the top 4 and thus qualifying for Nationals include:\r\n
