This school year the Junior/Senior High School is please to continue its partnership with the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce in recognizing students who go above and beyond in their efforts to RISE to Excellence.
The following students have been selected for September Students of the Month.
Junior High - Ian Cure
Ian was nominated by multiple classmates.
I believe Ian should be the student of the month because he is very kind, has lots of energy, is super sweet, and is always helping out and catching us up on things. He really represents our school Ian is a really kind kid. He rises above to help others no matter the situation. He has grown so many friends as this being his first year of being a dragon. He really deserves student of the month. Thank you. Ian is a really good student. I love his positive energy and the way he acts. He loves to help and that's why I would vote for Ian.
High School - Ana Lerma Garcia
Ana was nominated by Mr. French.
Ana consistently goes above and beyond to make sure that she really understands what we learn in class. She makes time to come and ask questions when she has them, and she makes the most of her work by learning from it, not just rushing through it. She also brings a great attitude to class everyday and is helpful to her classmates when they need help with math. Her positivity and achievement both make her deserving of student of the month.
