This week, the Holyoke 8th graders went to the Career Fair. The Career Fair is an annual event that offers knowledge on different types of careers. All of the 8th grade students went and had a great time. Beforehand, the eighth graders took a test to see what careers they should be looking at. One of the many 8th graders to attend was Emmanuel Vasquez (EV). After EV took the test, the careers he was recommended were a chef/caterer, administrator, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and a teacher. He then went on and visited these booths to learn more about these careers. EV said he had a great time and learned a lot. It was definitely helpful for him to have a better insight on what he wants to do when he gets older. The Career Fair is an awesome event!
