The Adulting 101 class has been coordinating with an FCCLA project (led by class members Sawyer Sigler, Madi Clapper, and Ciara Peterson) to prepare the entire 5th and 6th grade classes for Rural Ameritowne. These are pictures from students delivering their campaign speeches for mayor and judge, after campaigning in teams for a week. 5th and 6th graders voted on Wednesday, Feb. 9, and the winners will be announced along with all Rural Ameritowne job placements on Feb. 23. All 5th and 6th graders will be interviewing for their Rural Ameritowne jobs on Feb. 21.
In addition HS ELL students helped translate for the elementary ELL students during another lesson.
