Our group of 22 HHS students returned from a fun and educational trip to Europe this past week. Here are just a few of the highlights.
Is your child planning to play sports next school year? Don't forget to schedule their physical! A well-child visit can count as their sports physical and may help with other health concerns, plus it might be covered by your insurance. Physics students ended the year making rockets and determining the best parachute design for accuracy and safety.
What a wonderful elementary student council! š They led activities for students to create beautiful cards for nursing home residents. Even more special, they delivered the cards in person and shared smiles and stories! šā¤ļø
Mrs. Kleve's 7th grade seminar made teacher summer survival bags and new student welcome bags.
The new student bags include a backpack, Dragon T-shirt, pencils, highlighters, colored pencils and information about each building, maps, and information about our community.
Chants of "go teachers" could be heard from the assembled crowd as the K - 5 students cheered on the teachers to another win over the 6th grade students in kickball.
Ellie Kleve, Leah Struckmeyer, Grace Whisenhunt, and Marcus Laws competed in the roller coaster competition at Elitch Gardens and placed 3rd!
Mrs. Bliss had her class build blanket tents and go classroom camping as part of a cooperative learning activity.
Ag students helped build raised planter beds for the Regent Park and Carriage House residents to use this summer.
