
A sure sign of spring 1st/2nd grade recess found a group of lady bugs!



Third-grade scientists-in-training took on the challenge of uncovering the secret volumes hidden in mystery containers.





The 2nd grade students in Mrs. Pelle's reading class put on a readers theatre play called “A Whale of Story." They focused on their vocal expressions and their reading skills. They also got to use their creativity by making their setting backdrop.

The tradition of 7th grade students showing 6th grade students around the JR/SR High School continued today. There will be a parent's meeting for 6th grade parents this evening at 7 pm at the JR/SR High School.



The second grade class made a trip out to Highline to learn about electricity and how to be safe around it. Thank you for host us.




The 9th grade Physical Science class presented a superhero or fictional character based on their choice of an element from the periodic table. Some of them dressed up and did a demonstration to show what the elements can do.

Collaboration is key to fostering relationships. Recently, 8th graders and juniors participated in an activity designed to build bonds and enhance teamwork skills. Such initiatives not only promote connections but also prepare students for future collaborative environments.


The elementary students sent off the students participating in battle of the books on Thursday. Good luck in your competition tomorrow.





Nothing says school spirit like the boys teaming up with the cheerleaders at the spring pep rally. We are kicking off spring sports with pep, pride and a little extra flair.


Mrs. Houghtelling's class discusses what they would do in different situations. Today was what would you do if a teacher slips and drops her things? The students had very compassionate responses.



Students in Finance shopped and selected the best health insurance for them. This student is analyzing the summmary of benefits.


After returning from a week off 7th grade seminar students decided their outside lunch area needed a clean up. Thank you for your service.

The ag mech class made the district a cardboard trailer so we can recycle all the cardboard in the district. Make sure to check it out when you come back from Spring Break next week.



Today was Hats/Crazy Hair Day. The Cat welcomed students as they came, story read to the younger kids, and here are some of our favorite pictures.

5th grade was at Rural Ameritowne for the 100th day.










Grace Whisenhunt, Leah Struckmeyer, and Ellie Kleve attended the Girls Lead the Way conference at Colorado School of Mines. They got to participate in interactive STEM activities and hear from current students about what college academics and college living are like.
