2nd grade students act out a reader theater play. They created their own backgrounds to go with their scene.


Jolly Dozen sponsored their annual essay and artwork contest for 4th grade. The theme was “caring.” The purpose is to promote ethics and encourage writing and drawing.

What do you do when you can have PE in the gym? You do it in home room and mix in some math skills. Students had to pick an exercise and then flip over two dominoes and add them together to find out the number of times they had to do it.

Elementary Student Council donated $150 to the City Park Project from their bake sale at Fall Conferences.
They will be back at Friday's Conferences. They are gathering funds for their monthly assembles.

1st graders engage in physical activity to help them prepare for centers.


On Friday at our Professional Development Day, we participated in an activity that had everyone write something positive about their coworkers on a paper plate tied to their back. It is positive activities like these that make this a great place to work!






Max Kleve just signed his letter of intent to run track for Ft. Lewis College. Congratulations.

The 3rd Science Classes visited the Greenhouse as part of their life cycles unit.



8th grade students in seminar compete to build the tallest tower out of 15 sheets of paper and 3 feet of tape, working on teamwork and problem solving skills.

to review their weekly grammar concept.




World History students playing jeopardy to review for an upcoming quiz. We love seeing our students and teachers use teachers use technology to collaborate.


Here are some pictures from Brainbowl this weekend. We had four teams total. The fifth sixth grade teams placed third and fourth and third and fourth grade teams placed fifth and sixth.



These 3rd grade students completed a Veterinarian challenge and had to complete 10 multi step word problems that were pet hospital themed. They brought their favorite stuffed animal to treat at their hospital and worked hard on becoming vets!



The 8th grade has teamed up with the other 49 states to change postcards! Each student has written to at least one other middle school in another state. We have received almost half of our postcards back. They are learning tidbits about the other states as we read our cards.
