It is always fun to see what the kids want for Christmas. Enjoy these samples of 1st grade letters.

In December one would expect hats and winter coats, as well as making bricks for an igloo. Not Wednesday! The kids enjoyed the lovely weather. It was a great day for kindergarten at recess!

Guess what? Game Day is tonight against St. Francis!
This photo was taken by Kaden Herman and edited by Madi Clapper, both students in Mrs. Goldenstein’s Digital Art Class. Isn’t it amazing?

December is here and we are starting to get in the holiday spirit. Ms. Juana put up her tree much to the delight of these kindergarten students.

The students have been preparing for their concert on Monday night. Come on out and support them.

Thank you to CHS and General Manager, Evan Fust for giving Mrs. Sprague’s 9th grade seminar a tour of CHS.

Mrs. Ortner's Child Development class visited 2nd Grade this week. The students really enjoyed the math games the older students brought.

The final curtain for the musical is tonight at 7pm. All the students saw a preview yesterday. Ask your kid about it and come pack the auditorium tonight.

Mrs. Ortner's classes have been busy getting dinner theater ready for tonight. Are you ready for the musical?

Holyoke students went to CSU for the annual CSU MATH DAY.

Superintendent, Kyle Stumpf, took time out of his schedule to talk with students about their work in the COI. They were working on their CDL. Other students work on college classes or workforce certifications. Students can also participate in internships through HTI.

Please consited supporting the 7th grade class service project. They are sending care packages to members of our community serving outside of our country.

The Government class is spent time Tuesday looking at electoral maps before results start to be reported. Mrs. Sprague’s 9th graders researched amendments & propositions in the 2024 Colorado State Ballot Information Booklet. They voted in class to practice for the '28 election.

Congratulations to Teagan Martin on finishing 45th (18:20) and Jared Betley 88th (19:08) at the State Cross Country Championships today

Mr. Hines saw other teachers with hats on and thought, "Cool, I can wear my hat today too." Little did he know the staff had decided to dress up like him and Mr. Ramirez for Halloween.

In Science, the 2nd Graders are learning about the Scientific Method and Matter. They conducted an experiment using Candy Corn to see how different liquids would affect a solid. This was a fun way to learn more about the Scientific Method/Matter and form a hypothesis.

Mrs. Bliss's Math group played a variation of King Tut to practice matching up the numbers that make 10. This helps them be able to add and subtract quickly.

Students in Finance went to Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial to learn about car dealership and car loan firsthand. Brad showed us this sweet ride too! Thank you, Brad. Our kids learned a lot!

These are the top three Peace Poster winners for 2024! Aryan Hightower got 3rd place. Yurem Chavez got 2nd place. And Judd Korf received 1st place. Congratulations to these three!

5th graders are prepared for their student-led conferences tomorrow! Hope to see you there.
