Señorita Varela’s heritage Spanish is class working on English to Spanish words with a little competition.


Mrs. Sprague's 7th grade history students recreated historical artifacts for a class project.



These students participated in Colorado State University's Math day this last week.

5th graders studied dialogue, description, and pacing as they crafted the spooky stories that were shared with their class on Halloween.




JH science students studied the effects of friction by taking the temperature of an object at rest and then that same object after applying friction.


The elementary school staff dress up as zoo animals today. Mrs. Juarez was the zoo keeper.



Ms. Korpan's class celebrated their achievements last week with a Root Beer Float party. Our teachers care so much about their students and do everything they can to help the succeed.


Using a balloon and a ping pong ball, the Child Development class learned about dilation during childbirth and the difference between Braxton Hicks and true labor contractions. This effective simulation demonstrated live human birth in a way all students could understand.

Representatives from @SchneiderElec visited with our Physical Science classes today. They talked about the energy saving work they did for the school and things they can do to save energy at home. Thank you for your partnership.



Elementary students received pumpkins from very generous sponsors. Thank you so much.



Spanish 1 students practice the colors they are learning by writing and speaking sentences using the colors in the picture on the Promethean Board.


3rd Graders did multiplication centers that were Hollywood themed for HOCO Week. They sorted math facts on the red carpet, represented the distributive property with popcorn kernels and straws, solved concession stand word problems, and help usher guest to seats.







Today's dress up day is Ken & Barbie. It is great seeing all the pink at school today in anticipation of the Pink Out Volleyball game tonight. Hope to see you all there.



1st grade students reviewed 3D shapes by playing Head, Knees, Toes, Grab the Shape! The teacher would tell them to touch a part of their body, the name of a 3D shape to grab, then the students had to describe the shape they grabbed. This is fun way to review 3D shapes!
