In Science, the 2nd Graders are learning about the Scientific Method and Matter. They conducted an experiment using Candy Corn to see how different liquids would affect a solid. This was a fun way to learn more about the Scientific Method/Matter and form a hypothesis.

Mrs. Bliss's Math group played a variation of King Tut to practice matching up the numbers that make 10. This helps them be able to add and subtract quickly.








Students in Finance went to Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial to learn about car dealership and car loan firsthand. Brad showed us this sweet ride too! Thank you, Brad. Our kids learned a lot!



These are the top three Peace Poster winners for 2024! Aryan Hightower got 3rd place. Yurem Chavez got 2nd place. And Judd Korf received 1st place. Congratulations to these three!

Congratulations to Teagan Martin and Jared Betley (Fleming) for qualifying to run in the State Cross Country meet 11/2 in Colorado Springs. Teagan and Mason Sprague ran with Fleming this year. Teagan finished 10th, Jared 14th, & Mason 62nd out of 82. The team finished 6th.







7th Grade students completed their Ancient Egypt Project including a research paper, 3-D project and a presentation. The 3-D projects will be on display through parent teacher conferences Thursday and Friday. Come and see these amazing creations up close.



Our students are fortunate to have to opportunity to earn a CDL while still in high school. The student is behind the wheel while the CDL instructor explains different driving conditions and techniques.


Mrs. Stanley took advantage of the nice weather and had her library students take their books outside to read.


FFA students from all over Northeast Colorado gathered in Holyoke this morning to travel together to the National FFA Convention.


Trick or Trot registration is due today, October 17th, at 4pm.
