6th grade students participated in Ag Safety Day this week. There were demonstrations put on by Highline Electric Association, High School Ag students and others. We are thankful to everyone who took time to show our student how to be safe in our community.

The High School invites Elementary Students to join in on the 2024 Homecoming dress up days! Days may differ between the schools. Let's make sure all outfits are school appropriate. If clothing or accessories are too distracting, we may need to ask for adjustments.

Student Expectations at Games
Please remember that it is a privilege for our students to participate in athletics and activities. It is also a privilege for students to attend events and support their peers. When our students attend a home athletic event or activity, it is the responsibility of the parents to make sure their child(ren) are sitting down with them. Please do not allow your child(ren) to run around during these events as it creates a safety issue. Students who are asked more than once, may be asked to leave the event or activity.

Mrs. Hunter’s class was measuring kinetic and potential energy using meter sticks and golf balls. They were dropping the ball from different heights and then recording their results and then making predictions based on those results on how kinetic and potential energy work.

Mrs. Hines’ College Math class was playing “Sink My Battleship” practicing using exponent rules and simplifying. What a fun to see students use the skills that they are learning.
