Tonight we #GiveThanks to Sasha Lopez. A parent said, "Ms. Lopez is amazing at her job! She meets her students where they are and pushes them to keep going. She’s kind, positive, and upbeat."
We #GiveThanks to staff members who have made a difference, one staff member said that Mrs. Nevarez, "is always there for staff whether it’s helping unjam the copy machine, finding us coffee, translating, or just being a listening ear. She is also a rockstar in the front office."
Mrs. Houghtelling would like to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Priddy because, "Tarah has gone above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed as a new teacher to the district last year. She didn't hesitate to help me and the sub in my classroom when I was absent unexpectedly."
Holyoke students went to CSU for the annual CSU MATH DAY.
One staff member would like to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Daniel because, "Working with Carly was always such a joy. My first day on the job she took me under her wing and showed me how amazing Holyoke is. She is one of the reasons I stayed in the district as long as I have!"
Tarah Priddy wants to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Bieber because, "Mrs. Bieber has really made my daughter love all things reading and writing, when in the past it has been a subject of disdain. My daughter wakes up everyday excited to go to English because of her. "

Superintendent, Kyle Stumpf, took time out of his schedule to talk with students about their work in the COI. They were working on their CDL. Other students work on college classes or workforce certifications. Students can also participate in internships through HTI.
