Due to weather predictions for Holyoke, we are moving elementary field day to Wednesday, May 22nd. 1,2 & 3rd grade events will begin at 8:30 AM and K, 4, 5, and 6th grade field day starts at 11:45 AM.

Due to the rain that is projected for Wednesday, we have decided to move Bike to School day from Wednesday, May 8th to Friday, May 10th. Everything else will be the same, just the date is changed. We hope to see you riding to school on Friday.

Join us at 7 PM Friday May 3 in the HS auditorium for our final 7-12 Vocal Music concert. It will feature the JH/HS/and Select Choir groups as well as some solos and duets. We will recognize our letter winners and celebrate our 18 Seniors involved in vocal music this year!
Congratulations to Holyoke FBLA!
Forty HHS FBLA students traveled to the Gaylord of the Rockies in Denver on April 21 to compete again 3,300 other FBLA students from across the state to determine who would qualify to attend National FBLA in San Antonio in June.
Those students placing in the top 10 in their events included: Tristen Roll, 8th, Agribusiness; Alec Sprague, Kylie Purkeypile & Ashley Rahe, 6th, Local Chapter Annual Business Report; Josie Herman, Emily Jelden & Shianne Willmon, 2nd, American Enterprise; Lali Marquez, Jackie Valenzuela & Makenzie Martin, 1st, Community Service; and Kaylee Camblin, Savannah Burris & Kyra Loutensock, 1st, Partnership with Business. All student placing 1st through 4th are eligible to attend Nationals in San Antonio on June 29-July 3.
In addition to those placing in the top 4 of their competition, Kylie Purkeypile earned a spot to attend Nationals by being selected as Colorado State Officer District 4. In this role, Kylie's main responsibility will be to organize and implement the District 4 Leadership Conference at NJC in February, 2020. She will also attend multiple meetings throughout the year in Colorado and several other states. Along with adviser, Lori Nelson, Kylie will be the communication liaison for those schools in our district, including Haxtun, Julesburg, Caliche, Fleming, Peetz, Sterling, Revere, Weldon Valley, and Wray. Holyoke FBLA is honored to actually have a state officer in our school leading the approximately 7,500 members in Colorado, and over 230,000 students nationwide.

Girls Golf @ Burlington Cancelled 4/30 HS Track 5/1 in Akron moved to 5/3 in Yuma
The Holyoke first and third grade students invite you to their concert “Just For Fun,” tonight, April 15, at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium.
Due to the anticipated hazardous weather conditions combined with increasing snow and wind throughout the night the Holyoke School District will be closed all day on Thursday, April 11th. The elementary spring concert has been postponed to Monday, April 15th.

The Elementary Sunshine Committee made a motivational treat to kick-off state assessments on Monday April 8th. Parents, please encourage kids to get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast and come to school prepared to show what they know on the CMAS tests.
The time for the baseball game has been moved to 3pm tomorrow.
