Not everyone gets a summer break. There are still a number of people who work during the summer to get things ready for the next school year. Just 75 days until school starts.

This year the Elementary staff edged out the 6th graders in kickball (with the help of some ringers the teachers brought in). What a wonderful tradition to end the school year! Good luck next year in Junior High School.

Congratulations to the fifth and sixth grade poets who were chosen for publication in the Creative Communication spring contest!

In learning to sew zippers and button holes, Mrs. Ortner’s fashion class practiced by creating fidget mats for elderly people with dementia. The mats will be donated to Regent Park Nursing Home.

The JR/SR High School is once again hosting a summer reading challenge!!!
5 in a row BINGO for TEN Dragon Dollars
Blackout BINGO for TWENTY-FIVE Dragon Dollars
All completed returned BINGO cards (5 in a row or blackout) will be entered into a drawing for $25 in Chamber Bucks!!

Check out these Summer Reading Programs. The only way to get better at reading is to read more.

Congratulations to Mrs. Walker (Brandt), Special Education Teacher of the Year for the Northeast BOCES!

Have a Great Summer! All in all our students mean so much more to us than the bricks in the wall. We will see you back in 82 days. (Too soon?)
