Today we #GiveThanks to all the staff. "They show up, ready to work, and are prepared to greet students daily with a smile on their face. I could not ask for a better staff for our students! I am thankful for each and everyone of you!" Similar thoughts were expressed by many.
For #TBT we #GiveThanks to all the households in the school district. What makes this such a great place to attend school, teach and live is that everyone is welcome to be part of the process and in the end no matter what #OnceADragonAlwaysADragon Thank you for all the support.
Today we #GiveThanks to Mrs. Smith. Said one staff member, "She is always willing to help. Mrs. Smith is a multitasker, and a caring substitute. Thank you for being an awesome person!"
Mrs. Gordon wants to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Bahler. "[She] is so welcoming and friendly to each and every person who walks [into] the school. She has been a great mentor to me and my son loved having her as a teacher. She makes learning engaging! "
Mrs. Ortner's Child Development class visited 2nd Grade this week. The students really enjoyed the math games the older students brought.
For today a staff member wanted to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Powell. "[Her]leadership and support inspire us daily. Her guidance, kindness, and care—both in and out of school—create an empowering, compassionate environment. Thank you for all you do!"

The final curtain for the musical is tonight at 7pm. All the students saw a preview yesterday. Ask your kid about it and come pack the auditorium tonight.
This evening a staff member wishes to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Bornhoft for being "a world of knowledge and willing to help however and whenever it is needed. I’m thankful to know she’s always there for both students and staff. I am grateful that I get to work with her. "
We are happy to host Mancos High School for their practice today before their game against Haxtun tomorrow.

Tonight we #GiveThanks to Sasha Lopez. A parent said, "Ms. Lopez is amazing at her job! She meets her students where they are and pushes them to keep going. She’s kind, positive, and upbeat."

La señora Bencomo quiere #DaGracias a Doña Cleo. "Ella siempre tiene una sonrisa puesta en su faz y siempre está dispuesta para coger cualquier cosa que necesitamos. Ella asegura que nuestras salas estén listas para los estudiantes. Ella tiene un corazón lleno de bondad."
Mrs. Bencomo wants to #GiveThanks to Miss Cleo. "She always has a sweet smile on her face and is always willing to get us what we need! She makes sure our rooms are always ready for kids! She has the kindest heart!"
We #GiveThanks to staff members who have made a difference, one staff member said that Mrs. Nevarez, "is always there for staff whether it’s helping unjam the copy machine, finding us coffee, translating, or just being a listening ear. She is also a rockstar in the front office."
Mrs. Houghtelling would like to #GiveThanks to Mrs. Priddy because, "Tarah has gone above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed as a new teacher to the district last year. She didn't hesitate to help me and the sub in my classroom when I was absent unexpectedly."
Holyoke students went to CSU for the annual CSU MATH DAY.
