Mrs. Pelle's 2nd grade class had a fun start to their morning last week and wrote their spelling words with black light ink! They checked for accuracy under black lights before the test.

This week, counselors kicked off their ROX groups with 7th and 9th grade girls. ROX (Ruling our Experiences) is a program that empowers girls to have control of their own relationships, experiences, decisions and futures. Girls participate in weekly fun activities and lessons!

Ready, Set, Walk!!  Tuesday, October 7, 2025  Come celebrate fitness with National Walk to School Day! The Holyoke Wellness Committee is encouraging all students, teachers, and administrators to consider walking to school on Wednesday, October 7th.   	To walk as a group to school please meet at Brewed Awakening by 7:15.  We will begin walking promptly at 7:30. You are also welcome to walk on your own! Buses will NOT be stopping at the drop-off spot.  If you wish for your bus rider to participate, you will be responsible for getting them to the drop off location.

Vision and Hearing screening will be at the Elementary School on Tuesday, September 30 and at the JR/SR High School on October 1.

Today, at approximately 2 PM, the fire alarm went off at Holyoke Jr./Sr. High School, and all students and staff evacuated the building out of caution. The students and staff are being moved to the elementary school until the local fire department clears the building. All students and staff are safe at this time. More information will be shared as soon as the local fire department completes their assessment of the building.
