Congratulations to Addie Goldenstein for earning the opportunity to compete as a Colorado Delegate at the Society for Range Management High School Youth Forum in Sparks, Nevada!


Students started their clay projects last week. Can't wait to see what they create.


Our teachers employ alternative seating to help students focus on their lessons.


Sophomores spent time with the Oglala Commonwealth in a set of activities to engage youth in exploring assets in their communities and explore career paths. Students participated in activities and heard from local businesses about different career options in Holyoke.

This year Mrs. Kleve's 8th grade English class wrote postcards to 49 state and one country sharing great things about Colorado. They got their postcard reply from Morocco. "Here's looking at you kid!"



#TBT 2008, the Dragon cheerleading team finished 2nd. The team included Nora Roth, Mallory Bennett, Kali Drees, Kendra Timm, Teanna Amaral, Sydney Nelson, Katie Hoffner, and Megan Colglazier. #DragonPride #OnceADragonAlwaysADragon #LeaveALegacy

These students have demonstrated growth or achievement and reached the 75th percentile in either their NWEA or DIBLES, middle of the year assessments compared to previous assessments. They represent 77% of the elementary student body. Way to go Dragons!


4th grade starting fraction units play games. They had a max number of chances (denominator) with their number of successes (numerator).






6th grade girls loved their swag from R.O.X. (Ruling Our eXperience) girls empowerment group they will be participating in for the remainder of the year. This part of the transition to the Junior High that they will make next year.

Mrs. Daniel children wanted to bring their lamb, Benjamin, for show-and-tell. He was just too cute to share with just their classes. He went and visited the whole school.

At a work session before last night's board meeting, Mrs. Clayton showed the new board members about Capstone Project that each student must present to a board member as a graduation requirement.
