2nd graders had words that had blanks for a silent letter. The missing letter was on another paper. They threw them like snowballs. Once they were all mixed up from the snowball fight, students picked up the snowballs and had to match the words and missing silent letters.





The 7th grade students are working on the human body. Mrs. Hunter had them draw a body and label certain parts and draw what they looked like and where they thought they belonged.



The halls of the JR/SR High School were attacked by hearts to show they everyone is loved at our school.


Congratulations Caiden Krueger! Caiden will be playing golf for the Hastings College Broncos this fall.


FLBA members were interviewed yesterday about their free tax preparation service. It will air today at 9 and 12. You can come in and get help today from 8:30 - 2:30.

Mrs. Hines class was in the lab testing the pH and glucose levels of milk when combined with outside chemicals.

Sophomores participated in a reality check this week. They had to balance their "real life income" against "real life expenses." Thanks to the members of our community for supporting our students.

Chris Koch, born without arms and legs, shared his story "If I Can..." with students from all over NE Colorado and encouraged them to look past limitations and push themselves to accomplish anything. What a great story for our 6-8 students to hear.

This week we celebrate the wonderful individuals who are our school counselors. They push into classrooms, help with student social emotional needs, and prepare them for life outside of our walls. We owe them our thanks.


Both 3/4 grade teams and both 5/6 grade teams scored in the top ten with one of the 5th/6th grade teams going into the championship round and getting 2nd during the Brain Bowl Competition this weekend.
